Using 2-Step Authentication to access our customer area

Our customer area requires a login combination of email address and password. But these days this isn't enough. So we strongly encourage you to use the 2-Step authentication addition.

What is 2-step authentication? It's an easy to use but very secure addition to the login process. Once set up, whenever you log in you have to use the email/password combination and then you're asked for a 6-digit number. This changes every 30 seconds so even if someone knows your password, they won't know this number and, with 1 million combinations, they won't guess it in 30 seconds either.

Go to the security section and select to use this additional feature and follow the process. You'll need an app on your smartphone which generates the number. There are many apps to choose from but we recommend Google Authenticator or Authy. Both are free and easy to use.
